Hanging / Floating Habitats Pods

Hanging pods provide excellent habitat opportunities when bottom placement is not an option. The pods can be hung from marine infrastructure such as jetties, pontoons and piers. They can easily be positioned at a range of different depths to cater for various target species.

Floating pods provide habitat opportunity when bottom placement and hanging placement is not an option. The pods are attached to a buoy and tethered to a base weight. Multiple pods are then positioned at various heights in the water column creating a complex habitat geometry.

*The floating habitat systems can be moved depending on management requirements.

Recently these systems were deployed in West Lakes South Australia for RecFish and the City of Charles Sturt Council.
